Winno (“Winno,” “we,” “us”) is an agricultural marketplace operated by Agrigence. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Winno mobile app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Winno you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name, email address, and (if available) your profile photo. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.
- Listings you create. Titles, descriptions, prices, categories, location names, and photos you upload.
- Messages. The content of one-to-one and group conversations you send to other users.
- Device & notification data. A push-notification token and basic device information so we can deliver notifications about your conversations.
- Safety data. Reports you file and users you block.
How we use your information
- To operate the marketplace — publish your listings and show them to other users.
- To enable messaging between buyers and sellers and deliver notifications.
- To keep Winno safe — review reports, enforce our rules, and remove abusive content or users.
- To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
How information is shared
Your public profile, listings, and the messages you send are visible to the users you interact with. We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run Winno:
- Google Firebase — authentication, database, file storage, and hosting.
- Apple & Google — sign-in and push-notification delivery.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Data retention & account deletion
You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account in the app. Deleting your account removes your profile and listings. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
Children
Winno is not directed to children and is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete your information. To make a request, contact us at the email below.
International users
Winno is operated from Kenya and your information may be processed on servers located in other countries through our service providers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
